Programme

The Core of AC 2027

The Annual Conference is built around two equally important parts of IAESTE’s work:

Exchange & Cooperation

The Annual Conference is one of the year’s key moments for IAESTE committees to meet, exchange internship offers, strengthen bilateral cooperation, and develop relationships that support the Exchange Programme.

Exchange Sessions provide dedicated time for committees to discuss available internships, identify matches, address cooperation challenges and build stronger working relationships for the year ahead.

In a global network, successful Exchange depends not only on individual offers, but also on trust, communication and active cooperation between committees. AC 2027 will therefore place strong emphasis on creating enough time and space for these conversations.

Discussion & Decision-Making

AC 2027 also introduces a new programme structure designed to create more space for meaningful discussion while making formal General Conference sessions more focused and efficient.

Dedicated thematic member discussions will allow reports, challenges and strategic questions to be explored in greater depth before relevant matters reach the General Conference.

This enables the General Conference itself to focus more clearly on formal business, decisions, motions, approvals and voting.

Thematic Member Discussions

Throughout the week, dedicated sessions will focus on key areas of IAESTE’s work:

  • Exchange & IT
  • Network Development, Governance & Finance
  • Marketing & Partnerships
  • Strategy & Commitments

These sessions will provide space to present reports, exchange views, discuss challenges and prepare relevant matters before they reach the General Conference.
