The Annual Conference for the IAESTE Network
The Annual Conference is one of the year’s key moments for IAESTE members to meet in person, strengthen Exchange cooperation, discuss the Association’s development, and make formal decisions.
AC 2027 will combine the traditional core of the Annual Conference with a new programme structure designed to create more time for meaningful discussion and cooperation.
Exchange & Cooperation
Exchange remains at the heart of the Annual Conference.
Dedicated Exchange Sessions will provide time for committees to:
- exchange and discuss internship offers;
- identify possible cooperation opportunities;
- strengthen bilateral relationships;
- address challenges between committees;
- improve communication and trust;
- plan cooperation for the coming Exchange year.
Members are encouraged to come prepared not only with offers, but also with a clear understanding of their priorities, challenges and potential areas for cooperation.
Thematic Member Discussions
Dedicated member discussions will take place throughout the week and will focus on:
- Exchange & IT;
- Network Development, Governance & Finance;
- Marketing & Partnerships;
- Strategy & Commitments.
These sessions will provide more time to present reports, explore challenges and discuss key questions before relevant matters reach the General Conference.
General Conference
Formal General Conference sessions will focus on decisions, motions, approvals and voting.
By moving more report presentations and discussion into dedicated thematic sessions, the programme aims to make GC time more focused and efficient.
Knowledge Sharing
Campfire Sessions and other peer-learning formats will provide opportunities to share practical experience, tools and good practices across the network.
