TRAVEL & ARRIVAL
The conference will be held at The Mwalimu Nyerere Leadership School in Kibaha, located just a few kilometers from the vibrant city of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The country is renowned for its breathtaking safaris, rich cultural heritage, Mount Kilimanjaro, and the pristine beaches of Zanzibar. IAESTE Tanzania will organize a pick-up for each participant arriving on 29th January 2027 at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Airport (Dar Es Salaam International Airport).

International Transfers & Airlines
Tanzania is well-connected globally, and many major international airlines offer direct flights to Dar es Salaam. When booking your travel, you can choose from a variety of major carriers. Selected airlines servicing the area include KLM, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Air France, South African Airways, Kenya Airways, Egyptair, Air Tanzania, and flydubai.


Arriving by plane
Arrival by air is the most convenient way for international participants to travel to Tanzania. Your destination will be the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Airport (Dar Es Salaam International Airport).
The conference venue, The Mwalimu Nyerere Leadership School, is located in Kibaha, Coast Region, just a few kilometers from Dar Es Salaam City. You will not need to worry about navigating local transit or booking a taxi upon arrival; airport pick-ups and drop-offs are fully included in the conference fee for all participants

Arriving by road
If you are traveling from within Africa or planning a broader overland trip before the conference, arriving by road is also an option. Tanzania is accessible by road from several neighboring countries, including Kenya (Nairobi and Mombasa), South Africa, Zambia (Ndola), Malawi (Lilongwe), Congo, and Mozambique.
